For the first time in club history, three senior teams won premierships in the same season. The 2nd, 3rd and 4th XIs lifted the shield on Saturday in an historic day for TWCC.

At Macleay Park No. 3 the 3rd XI faced off with St James Malvern Valley for the Holzer Shield. Zach Schloeffel's 41 runs, 1 wicket and catch earned him the Man of the Match medal.
The 4th XI defeated St Pauls to claim the Merrell Shield. Having played day one at Leigh Park, a ground issue saw day two moved to Balwyn Park North. Rod Denovan (35) and Peter Cutter (31) helped the 4th XI post 209 from 72 overs. Kane Cefai (4/38) led the attack on day two to bowl out St Pauls for 124. Rod Denovan was adjudged Man of the Match for his 35 runs with the bat and 2/23 with the ball.
Saturday capped off a great season for the club which also saw the 1st and 5th XIs narrowly miss out on finals. A big thank you to all our sponsors, and particularly to The Tree Company for its generous support of the post-match celebrations.
