Dear TWCC Family,
Cricket season is coming upon us very quickly, and pre-season training even faster.
With over 150 expected registrations, now is the time to start thinking about how you can help the club – coaching, team management, administration, newsletter? The more the merrier, so please let us know.
This season we will once again grade U12’s, U14’s and U16’s to potentially submit A grade teams. If your child does not want to grade, please email through. email@example.com
All other registration enquiries may be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org.
U10’s we are offering both Saturday and Sunday teams. Please ensure you register for the correct group. This is mostly driven by ground availably, but also caters for children who play different sports on the other day.
At this stage we haven’t heard of any major format changes to the grades, but will communicate this as the season gets closer.
Registrations are now open in My Cricket. As per club policy, all children who participated in our In2Cricket program and returning players are given preference to play at TWCC in the upcoming season.
Due to the club’s popularity, quality cricket program and limited player numbers which the club can accommodate, it is essential to register for the TWCC 2019-2020 season as soon as possible.
We will open registrations to new players after Wednesday 7th August.
Please use the link below (choose appropriate age – as at 31/08/19):
The club component of the registration fees this year is $300 per player. There is also a $5 insurance levy from Cricket Victoria as well as a processing fee.
The club component fees are set for a break-even outcome for the club once total season expenditure has been accounted for.
This accounts for the indoor training program, outdoor training, game day match equipment, game day and training cricket balls, umpiring fees, trophies, paid coaching assistants, council ground fees, registration fees and club insurance.
Indoor training will commence (soon!) week beginning Monday 19th August.
Further information will be sent to registered players leading up to this, however we will continue with the same format as previous years with:
Outdoor net dates will also be communicated closer to the start date, once we have approval from Council. It is anticipated training will be:
We would love to register some all-girls teams again this year. If you are interested in this program, please let us know.
Finally, on behalf of the club, I look forward to welcoming you back to the 2019-2020 season.
